Aideen O’Dochartaigh
Dr. Aideen O’Dochartaigh is part of the team at the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water working on Mapping, Assessing, and Mitigating Climate & Biodiversity-Related Value Chain Risks, a project within the Enabling Fair Transformations theme of our independent research.
Her research focuses on sustainability accounting and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, integrating sustainability reporting, regulatory frameworks, sustainability networks, and carbon budgeting. She applies this interdisciplinary expertise to create impact across the accounting profession, business, policy, and the public sector.
Dr. O’Dochartaigh has published in leading international journals and secured funding for multiple transdisciplinary research projects. She is also chartered accountant (FCA) and volunteers her expertise pro bono with several social and environmental justice organisations.
