Our People
Chloe Brown
Chloe is a Research Fellow at Queen’s University Belfast, working within the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water on Platform 1.5 – Vegetation Change. Her research examines how human–natural landscapes across Ireland and the UK are changing, using remote sensing, GIS, and field data to monitor vegetation dynamics, habitat condition, and restoration outcomes.
Recently, Chloe’s work focuses on peatlands, forests, and post-agricultural landscapes, exploring how land-use change and restoration interventions shape vegetation structure, carbon dynamics, and biodiversity. Her work also examines the potential of rewilding to contribute to national climate and biodiversity targets.
