Vivien Vos

Vivien is a hydrologist specialising in hydromorphology. At the Climate + Co-Centre, she works within the monitoring team to study the impact of weirs on river sediment transport and the associated environmental risks.

Her research focuses on developing methods to measure the volume of sediment stored behind weirs and understanding river behaviour at sites where weirs are being mitigated.

Vivien holds a BSc in Soil, Water, and Atmosphere, and an MSc in Earth and Environment from Wageningen University & Research, providing her with a strong foundation in hydrology and a broad expertise in earth sciences.
