Anne Kearns
Anne is the Education & Public Engagement Manager at the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water. She works closely with researchers to connect a wide range of audiences with Climate + research, delivering impactful school programmes and community workshops.
Currently, Anne is also pursuing a doctorate in education, focusing on public participation in green transition policymaking both in Ireland and internationally. Her research explores whether innovative co-creation and co-production frameworks can empower communities to shape local and national climate policies in their regions.
Anne has experience across multiple disciplines, including the public and private sectors, arts and culture, and academia. She is particularly interested in co-creating projects with participants, ensuring that the content, topics, and activities resonate with the target audience and meet their needs. With extensive experience in developing engagement programs and educational resources, she has focused on subjects such as architecture, art, ethics and privacy, artificial intelligence, culture, and climate action. Anne has also led national engagement programs in architecture, AI, and climate action, and has a history of producing artist-in-residence programs, festivals, and exhibitions.
