Chloe Brown

Chloe Brown

Chloe was a Climate +  Research Fellow from 2024 to 2026. She was based at Queen’s University Belfast and worked on Biodiversity Change project.

Her research examined how human–natural landscapes across Ireland and the UK are changing, using remote sensing, GIS, and field data to monitor vegetation dynamics, habitat condition, and restoration outcomes. She particularly focused on peatlands, forests, and post-agricultural landscapes, exploring how land-use change and restoration interventions shape vegetation structure, carbon dynamics, and biodiversity. Her work also examined the potential of rewilding to contribute to national climate and biodiversity targets.

Chloe successfully obtained a lectureship post in Remote Sensing & GIS with the University of Salford.
