Kaitlin Wright

Kaitlin Wright is a researcher investigating carbon fluxes in upland peatlands at Glenwherry Hill Farm. Her work is supervised by Phil Jordan at Ulster University and forms part of the Climate+ Co-Centre’s Spoke 4 – Investing in Nature and Carbon. Kaitlin’s project focuses on comparing default carbon values provided by the Peatland Code and IPCC – which do not differentiate between upland and lowland peat – with site-specific measurements, aiming to improve accuracy in carbon accounting for peatland restoration and management.
