Md Arman Habib

Dr. Md Arman Habib joined the UCD research team in the Climate + Co-Centre as a postdoctoral researcher in March 2026. He works in the monitoring theme on the project Monitoring and Assessing the Effectiveness of Ecological Water Quality Restoration Measures. 

His main task involves the development of new monitoring strategies and rapid response indicators to inform the implementation of appropriate restoration measures for improving ecological water quality in Irish rivers and streams in line with the goals of the European Union Water Framework Directive.

Dr. Arman has a background in civil engineering and is familiar with developing artificial intelligence-based tools for water resource management and monitoring.
